The Introductory Class gives a basic overview of Aikido. The class structure includes a warm-up, body conditioning, taisabaki (footwork and body movement), ukemi (learning how to fall safely) and technique practice. The pace of the class is tailored to beginners and you will also learn about the history and philosophy of aikido as well as practical self defence skills. Wear comfortable work-out clothing to move in like sweats and a t-shirt. Everyone is welcome.
